Templates are pre-set messages that can be reused to create and send standard communications across channels.  

IMIconnect enables you to create custom templates for each channel to be used within a service. Once created, these templates can be used for sending outbound messages by using rules or APIs by referencing the template id in the API request. You can choose to include variables into the message for personalization which would be dynamically populated based on the parameters received from an API request or from the customer's profile details, for each recipient.
